I’ve added a new feature to my Re-Reading is a Gift Substack: A Chat space for subscribers.
Why a Chat space? ‘Cause I recently read something I really didn’t like!
Rather than giving it a “permanent” pan on the webpage, I decided to share a short reaction and invite subscribers who disagree to tell me where I’m wrong.
This new Chat is a conversation space only for subscribers to Re-Reading is a Gift.
Today I’m using it to invite you to explain why I might be wrong to dislike something I just re-read. In time, I suppose I may find other purposes for it too.
In any case, I hope you’ll check it out by following the instructions below. Let me know what you think about the piece I disliked so much—or just say Hi (to me and to other Re-Reading is a Gift subscribers).
How to get started
Get the Substack app by clicking this link or the button below. New Chat threads won’t be sent via email; you’ll need to turn on push notifications learn about conversations as they happen. You can also access Chat on the web.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
